I’m Meghan and I’m an acupuncturist, herbalist, holistic health coach, pain management specialist, yoga teacher, and nutrition and fitness enthusiast. That’s a lot of ‘ists.’ More importantly than those ‘ists,’ I’m a student of life and have an unrelenting curiosity for all things health and wellness. Throughout my years of both formal education and simply (sometimes awkwardly) meandering through life, I’ve learned a lot about what it means to seek, optimize, and maintain a seemingly elusive state of health – and by extension, happiness. I want to share my insights with you so you can feel supported and empowered to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty on your own health journey, so let’s go!

Instagram post 2173571691958216692_253363693 Feeling so grateful. This week I reached a milestone number of patients treated. Which I say not to be bragadocious but to attest to the power of focus and attention and belief. 
A little over a month ago I untethered myself from the consulting work I’d been doing through grad school and in the years since. It was an immensely flexible and cushy gig and I’m thankful to have had it but it was also a crutch. Someone very special to me told me early on as a new acupuncturist that I’d never grow my practice until I stopped stalling with consulting work and took the leap of faith to go all-in with acupuncture...and that has turned out to be incredibly, powerfully true. 
So appreciative of all the people who have supported me on this career journey and the patients who have trusted me to help them feel better every day.

But I’ve learned, and continue to learn, that enjoyment and rest are incredibly integral and rewarding elements of overall wellness.

Gallbladder 14 and Yintang are a power couple when it comes to shutting down the ‘tired but wired’ phenomenon.  To do acupressure here, find GB14 an inch above the eyebrow in a line vertical with the pupils of the eyes. If you’re a worrier, there might be a crease there (raises hand 🙋🏼‍♀️). Find Yintang right between the inner edges of the eyebrows. Press, press, press for 30 seconds or so. Easy peezy.
